Nazim Umbayev to Officiate at Baku 2026 World Judo Championships
Nazim Umbayev, a member of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation’s refereeing team and an international “A” category referee, will be among the officials at the World Judo Championships in Baku.
Umbayev is the first Azerbaijani referee to officiate at a World Judo Championships. He was first selected for the refereeing team at the 2025 World Championships in Hungary.
The Baku 2026 World Judo Championships will take place at the National Gymnastics Arena from 4 to 11 October.
