AJF Refereeing Committee Holds Practical Seminar for Local Referees

The Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) Refereeing Committee organized another practical seminar for local referees.

The seminar was conducted under the guidance of Natig Baghirov, Advisor to the AJF President and Chairman of the Refereeing Committee; Matin Rahimli, AJF Refereeing Manager and IJF International Referee (Category A); and Abbas Shahverdiyev, member of the Refereeing Committee.

The main objective of the seminar was to share with local referees the latest insights, rule amendments and current refereeing practices based on the experience gained at the World Judo Championships held in Baku.

During the seminar, various refereeing situations from the World Championships were analyzed, and participants exchanged views on recent developments in the application of judo rules and practical refereeing matters.
