Azerbaijan Claims Silver in Kata at Special Olympics Open Judo Tournament
Azerbaijani representatives finished among the medallists in the kata competition at the Special Olympics Open Judo Tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Adila Niftaliyeva, a member of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation’s adaptive judo group, won the silver medal in Nage-no-Kata together with AJF education expert Ibrahim Aslanov. In the kata pair, Adila Niftaliyeva performed as tori, while Ibrahim Aslanov took the role of uke.
