Azerbaijan Concludes Hungary Grand Slam with Three Medals
The Azerbaijan national judo team concluded the Grand Slam tournament in Hungary with three medals.
On the final day of competition, Jamal Gamzatkhanov (+100 kg) defeated Ukraine’s Yakiv Khammo by ippon in the bronze medal contest to secure third place.
Earlier, Rashid Mammadaliyev (-73 kg) claimed gold, while Vusal Galandarzade (-81 kg) earned a bronze medal.
Azerbaijan therefore finished the tournament with one gold and two bronze medals.
