120 Judoka Take Part in Belt Grading Exam in Ganja
On 1 April, an official belt grading exam was held at the Ganja Sports Palace, organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
A total of 120 judoka demonstrated their skills in accordance with their age categories across the white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt levels. Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.
Belt grading exams help judoka develop a more structured and comprehensive understanding of techniques, while also increasing their motivation. Belt rank is an important indicator for assessing and officially recognising an athlete’s level of preparation. At the same time, this stage is considered one of the key requirements for participation in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
