246 judokas take part in official belt examination in Sheki

On October 22, a formal belt examination was held at the Sheki Olympic Sports Complex, organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.

A total of 246 judokas from the North-West region took part in the examination, testing for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt grades according to their respective age categories. Participants who successfully passed the examination were awarded the corresponding belts and official certificates.

The organization of official belt examinations plays an important role in ensuring that judokas comprehensively master judo techniques and maintain motivation. The belt grading system serves to assess and officially recognize athletes’ level of professionalism, as well as being a necessary requirement for participation in prestigious national tournaments in the future.
