390 Judoka Take Part in Belt Grading Examination

On 9 June, another official belt grading examination was held at the Sumgayit Judo Training Centre. Organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the examination brought together 390 judoka.

The athletes demonstrated their skills in accordance with their age categories across the white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt levels. Those who successfully passed the examination were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.

Belt grading examinations help judoka develop a more structured and comprehensive understanding of techniques while also increasing their motivation. This stage is also considered one of the key requirements for participation in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
