7 Medals at the Lima Grand Prix
The judo Grand Prix held in Lima, the capital of Peru, has concluded. On the final day, two more of our judokas reached the podium.
In the -90 kg category, Murad Fatiyev marked his return after a five-month break with a silver medal. In the heavyweight division, Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) claimed bronze — a notable first World Judo Tour medal for the 21-year-old.
Thus, our national team finished the international tournament with seven medals. Earlier, Ahmad Yusifov (-60 kg) won silver, while Rashad Yelkiyev and Ruslan Pashayev (both -66 kg), Omar Rajabli (-81 kg), and Konul Aliyeva (-48 kg) earned bronze.
