A seminar dedicated to changes in the judo rules has been held
A seminar dedicated to the rule changes introduced by the International Judo Federation was held at the National Teams Training Centre, organized by the Referees Committee of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF).
The seminar was conducted under the leadership of ACF President’s advisor Natik Baghirov and ACF referees’ manager, IJF A-category international referee Matin Rahimli.
During the event, detailed discussions were held on the following topics, with the new rules explained and changes demonstrated in practice:

new regulations on when yuko should or should not be awarded;

permitted cases when breaking kumikata is allowed and the criteria for applying a shido penalty;

shido penalties to be given for time-wasting;

points of attention regarding the application of ushiro-sankaku in ne-waza;

updates in the application of shido penalties for non-combativity;
-
changes related to medical intervention during a contest.
