Abşeronda kəmər dərəcələri üzrə rəsmi imtahan keçirilib

On 6 March, the next official belt examination was held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

Organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, the exam brought together 286 judoka who, in line with their age category, demonstrated their skills for the white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt grades. Athletes who successfully passed the exam were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.

Belt examinations help judoka to master techniques in a more systematic and comprehensive way and at the same time serve to increase their motivation. A belt grade is an important indicator for assessing and officially recognising an athlete’s level of preparation and is also one of the key requirements for participation in major national competitions.
