AJF Meets with Cadet National Team Ahead of European Championships
A meeting was held with the members of the Azerbaijan national team ahead of the Cadet European Judo Championships.
The meeting was attended by Azerbaijan Judo Federation Executive Vice President Rashad Rasulov, Advisor to the AJF President Natiq Baghirov, and the national team coaching staff.
The federation leadership expressed its confidence in the athletes and underlined its belief that they would perform successfully at the European Championships. The judoka were given final recommendations ahead of the competition, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of competing with responsibility and determination.
The Cadet European Judo Championships will be held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, from 29 June to 2 July. Azerbaijan will be represented by 17 judoka (10 boys and 7 girls) across 12 weight categories in the individual competition. The national team will also compete in the mixed team event on the final day of the championships.
