An educational seminar on the prevention of concussion and head trauma was held for coaches, delivered by national team head doctor Ramil Valiyev. The main aim of the seminar was to familiarise coaches with ways to prevent sport-related head injuries, recognise early warning signs and apply correct initial intervention protocols.

During the event, participants were given detailed information about the causes of head injuries, risk factors and their long-term effects. It was particularly emphasised that, in cases of blows to the head during sport, timely recognition of initial symptoms and immediate medical assessment of the athlete are of vital importance.

This initiative is part of a systematic programme of measures aimed at strengthening a culture of health and safety within the national teams. It is planned to continue organising similar educational activities for coaches and sports professionals in this area in the future.
