Baku Gears Up for the World Judo Championships – Tickets Now on Sale
The official communication campaign for the 2026 Senior World Judo Championships, which will take place in Baku from 4 to 11 October 2026, is set to begin. Alongside the launch of the campaign, tickets for the championships are now on sale.
One of the most prestigious events on the international judo calendar, the championships will be held at the National Gymnastics Arena and are expected to bring together the world's top judoka.
As part of the official communication campaign, the event's key visual identity is also being unveiled. The new visual concept reflects the spirit of the Baku 2026 World Judo Championships, the energy of the sport and Azerbaijan's role as host nation.
During the championships, fans will have the opportunity to watch world-class competition in both the individual and mixed team events. Azerbaijani supporters will also have the chance to cheer on the national team and see the world's best judoka compete on home soil.
In recent years, Azerbaijani judo has attracted international attention through its outstanding results on the world stage. Hosting the World Championships further demonstrates the country's strong standing within the global judo community and its continued commitment to the development of the sport.
