Beylagan Hosts Official Judo Belt Grading
On 17 October, under the auspices of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, an official belt (kyu) grading examination was held at the Beylagan Olympic Sports Complex.
A total of 132 judoka from the Aran–Mil–Mughan region sat for examinations—per age eligibility—across the white–yellow, yellow, orange, green, and blue belt grades. Candidates who passed were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.
The holding of official belt examinations is of great importance for athletes to comprehensively develop judo techniques and to maintain motivation. Belt grading is essential for assessing and formally recognizing skill level and is also required for future participation in prestigious domestic competitions.
