With the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF), a dan grading seminar and examination were held for judo coaches working in the autonomous republic.
As part of the programme, which began on 29 June, AJF Education Department specialists Ibrahim Aslanov and Elchin Mayilov delivered theoretical and practical sessions, providing participants with detailed information on the dan grading system and its certification requirements. At the final examination held on 3 July, coaches who successfully met the required standards were awarded the corresponding dan grade certificates by the AJF based on the assessment results.
It should be noted that the dan seminar and examination are among the mandatory requirements for studying at the International Judo Federation Academy and obtaining coach certification. The programme aims to assess coaches' knowledge and practical competencies within the dan grading system while supporting their professional development.
