IJF Academy’s 150th Judo Coaching Certification Programme Gets Underway in Baku
On 10 August, the International Judo Federation (IJF) Academy’s Judo Coaching Certification Programme got underway in Baku.
A total of 62 coaches are taking part in the programme, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation and the National Olympic Committee. Of these, 39 represent Azerbaijan, while the other participants come from India, Tajikistan, Djibouti, the Netherlands, Finland, the United States and Russia.
The seminars within the programme are conducted by IJF Academy experts. Throughout the sessions, participants receive theoretical and practical training across various areas of judo coaching. Coaches who successfully complete the programme will be awarded an internationally recognized IJF Academy certificate.
The programme in Baku holds special significance as it marks the 150th certification programme organized during the IJF Academy’s 10 years of activity.
To date, Azerbaijan has hosted six IJF Academy certification programmes.
