Judges have been selected for the belt examinations
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation has organized an assessment of the knowledge and skills of candidate experts wishing to serve as judges at belt examinations. More than 20 candidates took part in the evaluation process, during which their level of practical preparedness was tested.
Based on the results, candidates who successfully passed the assessment will act as judges at the belt examinations to be held in line with the 2026 calendar plan. In addition, in order to support the professional development of these experts, further training programmes, methodological seminars and experience-sharing sessions are planned.
It should be noted that belt examinations are organized in accordance with the official standards of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation and international requirements. The main purpose of these examinations is to objectively assess athletes’ technical and tactical preparedness, as well as to improve the quality of judo education in the country. The formation of a new panel of judges will make an important contribution to enhancing professionalism in this area and improving evaluation mechanisms.
