Official Belt Grading Examination Held for 300 Judoka

On 18 March, an official belt grading examination was held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.

A total of 300 judoka demonstrated their knowledge and skills for the white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt grades in accordance with their age categories. Athletes who successfully passed the examination were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.

Belt examinations help judoka to master techniques in a more systematic and comprehensive way and also serve to increase their motivation. A belt grade is an important indicator for assessing and officially recognising an athlete’s level of preparation, and it is also one of the key prerequisites for participation in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
