Regional Coaches Complete Development Programme in Qusar
From 27 April to 2 May, a professional development programme for regional coaches was held in Qusar, organised by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
A total of 20 coaches from Siyazan, Shabran, Guba, Qusar and Khachmaz regions took part in the programme.
Within the framework of the training programme, seminars were delivered on the following topics:
– new refereeing rules;
– kumi-kata battles;
– tactical planning against different opponents;
– transitions and turnovers in osaekomi;
– technical execution of basic physical preparation exercises for cadet judoka;
– transitions from tachi-waza to ne-waza;
– developing continuity in shime-waza;
– judo values and judo etiquette;
– psychological approach to cadet judoka;
– PR, media relations and social media management.
At the end of the programme, certificates were awarded to the coaches who successfully passed the final assessment.
