On 22 February, the first leg of the U-14 League competition in judo came to an end.

On the final day of the tournament held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex, girls competed in the -40 kg, -48 kg and -57 kg categories, while boys tested their skills in the -42 kg, -50 kg, -60 kg, -73 kg and +73 kg weight divisions.

A total of 541 judoka (452 boys, 89 girls) representing 94 clubs and sports organisations took part in the competition.

It should be noted that three legs of the U-14 League are planned to be held this year. These events will play an important role in shaping the athletes’ ranking list.
