The first official belt grading examination of the year has been held
On 31 January, the first official belt grading examination of the year was held at the National Teams Training Centre, organized by the Azerbaijan Judo Federation.
A total of 505 judoka took exams for white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue and brown belt grades in accordance with their age categories. Athletes who successfully passed the examination were awarded the corresponding belts and certificates.
The organization of official belt examinations is of great importance for ensuring that athletes comprehensively learn judo techniques, as well as for their motivation. The belt exam is essential for assessing and officially recognizing their level of professionalism and is also a prerequisite for future participation in prestigious domestic competitions.
