The first opponents of our judokas at the Astana Grand Slam have been announced
On May 7, the draw ceremony for the Grand Slam judo tournament was held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. According to the results of the draw, the first opponents of our athletes have been determined.
In the competition, which is part of the World Judo Tour, Azerbaijan will be represented by 11 judokas (6 men, 5 women) in 7 weight categories. 295 athletes from 36 countries will compete in the tournament.
On the first day of the Astana Grand Slam, which will be held on May 8-10, the qualifying round will start at 10:00, and the final block will start at 16:00. The matches of the competition will be broadcast live on "JudoTV" and "CBC Sport".
