Azerbaijani judokas won 5 medals at the Tbilisi European Cup
The Cadet European Cup has kicked off in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. On the first day of the competition, five Azerbaijani judokas reached the podium.
In the girls’ division, Nermin Agamirzada claimed the silver medal in the -48 kg category, while Leyla Alekbarova secured bronze in the same weight class. Khadija Abdullayeva also earned a bronze medal in the -44 kg division.
In the boys’ events, Rza Khalilli (-50 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (-60 kg) both finished with bronze medals.
It is worth noting that the European Cup has brought together 340 judokas from 15 countries.
